We have developed various exploration technologies. We established an application of crude rhamnolipid solution on greatly improving biodegradation of crude oil in aerobic activated sludge. It is highly regarded that rhamnolipids could enhance the solubility and emulsification of hydrophobic substrates and suggested as a promising strategy for the biotreatment of petroleum hydrocarbons. Crude rhamnolipid solution was found feasible in enhancing the biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons in a conventional aerobic activated sludge system.
Another pioneering application of rhamnolipid is as an adjuvant product in forming microemulsion and cellular protectant.
